Michael's First Ski Trip

Well, we were going to go tubing again last night, but Elizabeth had a cold so we didn't want to add injury to insult (since she's not a huge tubing fan). So we took Michael up to Steven's Pass (while Elizabeth got pampered by Grandma, Grandpa, & Aunt Nikki) for his first skiing experience. I thought for sure he wouldn't enjoy it - having these weird things strapped to his feet, being in the cold, etc., but he LOVED it! Brian would put Michael's little ski's between his and hold him up as they went crusin' down the easiest run called Daisy. A few times each run Brian would stand down hill from Michael and have him ski down to him. He laughed the whole 2 hours. And everytime we had to stop to catch the lift back up he would say, "More ride, Daddy! Again!" He was so upset when it was time to leave that he cried a good 10 minutes! Unfortunately, the cameras batteries were dead with the spares out in the truck - so no pics =( But it was a wonderful time. The snowy mountains in the calm night with snow falling on our faces...so serene.

I can't believe he liked it...I guess we can't ever predict toddlers. I didn't see you today, were you at home or were we just missing each other in the halls? figures the batteries were dead...it's just the luck of mothers who want pictures and never quite get the ones they've been wanting. talk to you later!

Jess - I was at church. We must have missed each other. Are we good for play group this week?

Yep, we'll come to your house because I'm guessing you still don't have a car...
