This year Brian's Dad, step Mom, & kids still at home (Willy, LaVina, Sumara & Kaitlyn) surprised us w/ a visit for Brian's birthday. It was a wonderful surprise! It made Brian's bday more special for sure. And they brought this yummy chocolate cake (on the day I started my diet of course) & took us out to dinner. It was fun to see everyone & to have them share this day with us.
Here's Brian blowing out his 36 candles! It took him 5 breaths to do it! Ha, ha! I give him a bad time about how ancient he is, but this year he said he actually felt old. It's strange how time works. Weren't we just kids yesterday, and now we're our parents age!?! So how old were our parents when we thought of them as "old"? Perish the thought!!!
