So I've been trying to play more imaginary games w/ the kids & this was the latest we played. I made some paper sea critters, along w/ some shells & star fish I took from my beach bathroom & put them in the toy closet. For a real deep diving experince I gave the kids flashlights & turned off the lights. It was fun. Here's one pic w/ the flash & one in the elements -

cute idea! I should have done that for underwater week. You should definitely do those themed weeks, you'd be great at it. Once I get about 10 books from the library on it and we all sit down to read them I just get tons of ideas like that and the rest of the week doesn't seem to be too hard. It all starts with the books and the imagination just takes off from there.
