Granite Falls

I always thought it was odd that the town of Granite Falls was named thus because there was no falls in sight! But lo & behold - here it is!


This is a walking path next to the river & falls that is also a fish ladder.

It's difficult from the pic to appreciate how intimidating it was walking over the fish ladder. Flowing river right below us. Lizzie would throw a fit everytime we put her down cuz she was so terrified.

Michael was sure this little nook was a bear cave. It took some serious convincing for him to go in with Dad. This great family walk proved to be a wonderful Sabbath activity for us. Definitely recommend it to one & all!
