Brian completed another century (100 mile) ride on Saturday at the Redmond Flying Wheels. It's the biggest century turn-out for Washington state. He's really getting his time down. 100 miles in 6.5 hrs! This event had 5 tough hill climbs, so they say that if you can complete this event, then you should be able to do the STP in one day as well. The only hang up Brian had was in mile 36 one of his back spokes snapped & warped his rim. Thankfully he didn't crash and he had his replacement road bike to finish the race with. He's competing in a mini Triathon next weekend, which he's been sponsered for, and then two weeks after that it's the big one! Brian's wanted to compete in the STP for years, so this is really a dream come true for him.
