I have too many decorations to show case them all & each has a special story. So I decided to take our top 5 - starting w/ our tree. Last year we went out & cut a 9 1/2 ft tree from a tree farm, which is always a blast, but after getting it home it took 3 painful hours to get it propped up & mounted w/ wall stakes secure enough that the kids wouldn't tear it down in seconds. Not to mention the bugs & spiders that made our home their new home, water it, daily vacuuming of needles, etc. So we bought a fake tree this year & it turned out beautifully. The only thing I miss is the fresh tree smell, but all things considered...AND I got the 6 1/2 pre-lit tree @ Walmart on Black Friday for $25! Can't beat that!
My mother made this for us kids ages ago to help entertain us - it's a Pin the nose on a reindeer! The noses have velcro & it's hours of fun!

Grandma truly was one of the most kind and loving people who ever was. I miss her dearly especially around the holidays. Don't you just love random things that may be simple to others, but have great meaning in your life..I know I do!
I wish I could have met her, I've heard she was amazing. Don't you just love Christmas decorating?!
And I just noticed Cori said "don't you just love" too, so I didn't mean to copy her. Haha :)
You're tree is beautiful & we right there with you- w/our fake tree too. I just put on a Christmas Tree Scentsy Bar and we pretend.
I don't know what my boys would do if they actually had a real tree as we are on our 3rd fake tree in our 6 Christmas's as the Foote Fam. I love the mush family Christmas Stuff!
