When I don't have any cool pics to post I feel like nothings going on. But with 3 kids and it being the holiday season, of course there are things going on! So here's what's happening around these parts...
BLACK FRIDAY: What a blast this was! I've never gone out on this crazy day before, but when I saw all these sweet deals I could not resist! And to christen my maiden voyage I chose, of all stores, Walmart! I loved the whole experience and walked away with some awesome deals! And it's not like I lost any sleep (what sleep). Alaina was up 15 minutes before my alarm clock was set to go off anyway. Worked out great :)
THANKSGIVING: We went to my mom's in Sultan this year. It was great fun. I laughed so hard playing Scategories I waisted most of the timer away. We brought mashed potatoes, gravy, and I made my grandpa's homemade rolls which turned out a little dry (again) but I'll keep at it :)
FAMILY MEMBERS: Brian has just switched over to a new department at Boeing, and really enjoying a change of pace. Alita's making a lot of gifts this year. Michael is officially in 5T clothes.I'm actually shopping in the boys dept (instead of the baby section) for a lot of his clothes! Elizabeth is really enjoying speech therapy. She talks a lot more for the pathologist, Brenda, which says to me she can do it, but why not at home? Alaina just rolled over for the first time! Of course I missed it cuz I was helping Michael w/ something and my back was turned! I can't believe she's 3 months today!
ELDER WIRTHLIN: As most of you know, Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin past away earlier this week & I wanted to say a few words about him & his incredible influence on our family. When we get the conference edition of the Ensign I instinctively go to Elder Wirthlin's talks first. He always has a strong message & an entertaining way of presenting it. I particularly enjoyed his last address where his theme was, "Come what may, and love it." When problems arise that's what Brian & I try and put into action. He is a called Apostle of Jesus Christ & although we will miss hearing his inspired words I'm happy to know he's been reunited w/ his wife.
